Brahmi

Ayurveda has been known to treat innumerable ailments for centuries and continues to do so. Brahmi promotes the overall health of the hair, which makes it grow longer and thicker.

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil is a staple in most Indian households and for good reason. It has incredible properties that can help in hair care, skin care and general healthcare. Coconut oil is a highly saturated oil that is traditionally made by extracting the oil from raw coconuts or dried coconut kernels. Coconut oil is rich in medium-chain fatty acids including lauric acid which as antifungal properties.  The fatty lipids in the oil helps retain moisture in skin making it feel supple and hydrated.

Kachura

Kachura or Curcuma Zedoaria also known as White Turmeric, is also an ancient spice used in Ayurveda. Kachura helps to prevent hair loss as a result of dandruff and other infections. It is also said to promote hair growth by stimulating the roots.

Liquorice or Mulethi

Liquorice or Mulethi promotes blood circulation in the scalp and nourishes the roots by supplying vital nutrients to the hair follicles. This helps arrest hair fall as well as condition the hair, adding a healthy shine to it. The antibacterial properties in mulethi curbs dandruff and other scalp infections that cause itching on the scalp. Ayurveda suggests that applying mulethi to the hair can prevent premature greying.

Sesame or Til

Sesame can prevent premature aging of hair and promote hair growth. It can also soothe heat damaged hair and dry hair by nourishing it.
