Soapnut or Reetha

Reetha or Soapnuts is well known for its traditional medicinal uses and is commonly used as a hair cleanser. Reetha is extensively used to make natural hair care products as it makes hair shiny, healthy and lustrous. It can be used on a daily basis to provide nourishment to the hair scalp and promote hair regrowth. According to Ayurveda, dandruff is a condition marked by flakes of dry skin on the scalp. This may be due to an aggravated Vata and Pitta dosha. Reetha helps to control dandruff and promotes hair growth due to its Tridosha balancing property. The Tikshna (sharp) nature of Reetha also helps to keep the scalp dandruff- free.

Shikakai

This traditional herb which goes by the scientific name Acacia concinna is a potent ayurvedic remedy for healthy, long hair. Commonly termed as the ‘hair-fruit’, it promotes hair growth, reduces hair fall, controls dandruff and relieves skin ailments. Being a natural surfactant, it cleanses the hair follicles, removes greasiness and makes the hair softer and shinier. It effectively removes dandruff but does not strip away the essential oils from the scalp, hence preventing dry scalp problems which ultimately causes flaking and dandruff.

Brahmi

Ayurveda has been known to treat innumerable ailments for centuries and continues to do so. Brahmi promotes the overall health of the hair, which makes it grow longer and thicker.

Neem

Neem benefits your hair by conditioning your scalp and promoting healthy hair growth.

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera strengthens hair, controls grease production in hair and helps relieve itchiness in scalp.
